Penny Auction Nikon D5000 Price Check

Have you heard about penny auction websites where you can get huge discounts of up to 98% on some items? Well, if you are interested in the Nikon D5000 price then you should check out the auctions going on over at Wavee.com where you can save a ton of money.

As pictured at the right is a screen shot of a current auction (may be over by the time you read this) going on at Wavee and features a Nikon D5000 for the incredible price of $107.49. The price will probably go a little higher, but it won’t be anywhere near the price of the same digital camera at Amazon.com. In fact I just went and checked the price at Amazon and see that as of press time the d 5000 is going for $629 with a Nikkor 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR lens.

Now, the auction pictured above is for the Nikon D5000 body only and the price at Amazon for that set up is $575, so you are going to save a substantial amount over Amazon by getting your digital camera at Wavee.com.

If you don’t know how these penny auctions work, it goes like this: First you register for the site, you then buy a bid pack and when you place bids the price of an item goes up by only a penny. Then if you are the winner, you get the item for the price at the close of the auction, even if it’s 90% less than retail. Bid at these auction sites range from 30 cents to about a dollar each and bids at Wavee.com cost 75 cents each, but if you don’t win an item, you can pay for it at retail minus the cost of your bids. So if you wanted the item in the first place (which you shouldn’t bid if you don’t) you can still get a pretty good deal, just maybe not the 90% off.

Anyway, join up Wavee.com and check on the price of the D5000 digital camera or any other camera you may want. They have a ton of cameras to bid on, all at incredible discount prices.

Nikon d5000 Price Check

On of the most popular places to get cameras these days in from Amazon.com, and of course Amazon is also the most popular place to buy a Nikon d5000 digital SLR. Since that’s the case, we’ve recently installed a Nikon d5000 price check widget in the right hand side bar for you to be able to see current prices instantly where available.

There are 2 prices to check in the widgets to the right. One is for the standard kit that comes with the Nikkor 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR lens and the other is for a kit tha comes with 2 lenses which include the previously mentioned one and also a 55-200mm f/4-5.6G ED IF AF-S DX “VR” Zoom-Nikkor lens.

The kit also includes a nice tripod, an 8 GB memory card, carrying case and a lot more. it’s a really great deal to have everything you need for your photography needs in one handy kit.

This Nikon DSLR camera has a resolution of 12.3 mega pixels and can take a photograph up to 4,288 x 2,848 pixels. With this kind of resolution you can get a printed picture at 200 pixels per inch on a home printer of 17 by 20 inches. You obviously need a printer that big and there are a couple of printers on the market from both Canon and Epson that will print that big.

Many people are deciding this is the Digital SLR that fits the bill for them. It is a mid level digital camera for serious consumer level photographers, but may not be suitable for professional photographers. However, even if you are a professional, this camera might be useful for a quick shoot where you don’t have to drag out all your equipment.

You can either check the price of this camera at Amazon.com by having a look at the widget at the top right sidebar location and click the widget there or you can do a Nikon D5000 price check here.

Nikon d5000 Review And Price

Nikon d5000 Price Check

The Nikon d5000 is a slightly higher than entry level, prosumer digital camera with a resolution of 12.3 megapixels giving photographers a maximum picture resolution of 4,288 x 2,848 and the ability to produce prints on a home printer as big as 21 by 14 inches. While it may be confusing to the average consumer of these cameras with so many on the market today, it does create an atmosphere of competition that will only drive prices continually lower and add more features to ultimately improve your photography.

The move to bigger and bigger resolution CMOS sensors seems to be at an increasing pace lately and is getting close to being really more than the average photographer will ever need. There are even consumer level digital SLR cameras available these days with 18 megapixel sensors which is much more than needed by anyone other than serious photographers. While these cameras with picture resolutions into the stratosphere are great, you should certainly understand the power and usefulness of a camera such as this before you invest your hard earned money in something that isn’t necessary.

Nikon d5000 Review

With that said, if this is the digital slr you have your eye on, then by all means, get it because it is a great camera. Let’s look at some of the rich feature this camera has:

Image sensor cleaning
11 area TTL auto focus system
4 live autofocus modes including face priority
ISO sensitivity 200-3200 and up to 64,00 with boost
4fps continuous shooting
2.7″ 230,000 pixel tft viewfinder screen
In camera photo retouching including red-eye reduction, filter effects, color balance, image overlay, quick retouch, straighten, distortion control and more.

You may have seen the commercials on TV featuring Ashton Kutcher at a fashion show strutting up and down the runway trying to photograph the models. The Nikon d5000 camera is the one he is using and one of the main features of the camera is the swivel into any position viewfinder screen. The Nikon D90 has a much higher resolution screen coming in at 920,000 pixels, but Nikon is hoping the added functionality of the swivel makes up for the lower resolution.

However, don’t fret too much about the resolution because most buyers of digital SLR cameras don’t use this feature for actually focusing the camera and shooting because the reaction time is too slow unless you are using a tripod. Most DSLR users buy this kind of a camera because they actually look through the viewfinder to see the action for real.

A plus on this camera is the 11 point viewfinder auto focus system that comes straight from the D90. It is a fairly robust AF system for a camera at this price level. It is recommended that you use this af system for a single object rather than for very high end situations such as sports games where you will be changing the focus of the main object of your photo.

The Nikon d5000 can be purchased as a body only camera which would be the obvious thing to do if you are a seasoned photographer and already have your own Nikon lens set up but, the d5000 is mainly found at Amazon and B&H Photo sold as a kit with a Nikkor 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR Lens included. Of course there are also thousands of Nikon accessories available and many more available from other manufacturers along with the usual books on photography tips and how to use your Nikon to get the best pictures possible.

The d5000 is a sure winner from Nikon and if this is the camera you want, you more than likely will not be disappointed with it. Click the link below to check the price since it does change from time to time.

Nikon d5000 Price

The digital SLR camera is here and finally affordable for the average consumer. That’s why the Nikon d5000 price is so attractive right now. When this camera first came out some time in April of 2009, the price was around $850 to $950, but since that time it has dropped nearly two to three hundred dollars and is a significant bargain now.

The camera can capture images up to 12.3 megapixels which is huge compared to what digital cameras were able to do just a few shot years ago. The 12.3 mega pixel picture translates into a maximum photo at a 4,288 x 2,848 pixel resolution. That’s more than enough digital information allowing you to capture all the rich detail in your photos that you could ever want. And if you are a digital artist like myself, your pictures will now be large enough for even the biggest prints. This camera from Nikon takes photographs approximately 4 times the size of the first digital camera I owned that was 3 times the price og this one.

The standard package for this camera from Amazon comes with a Nikkor 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR lens with 3x zoom, 11 point auto focus system, low noise ISO sensitivity ranging from 200 to 3200, continuous shooting at 4 frames per second, auto image sensor cleaning and much more. This Nikon digital camera is an incredible bargain and will make any photographer proud of his work. It is a great camera for first time digital SLR owners or a worthy addition to your camera arsenal.
